@inmylifeihateyouless oh yes those are great albums! You should definitely give Arthur a listen, it’s a fabulous album with great lyrics. I’m really happy you’re getting into the Kinks they deserve so much more recognition!❤️
I’ve heard the first few early albums, and also I’ve heard Something Else (which I like) and Lola vs Powerman yada yada (which I’m trying to get into). The later ones stick in my mind, they make them stand out I think. Like they were good at rock and roll, but I think they shine when the lyrics get more thoughtful later on
@inmylifeihateyouless No no you’re not a bother!! I’m so glad you came to me!! The Village Green is perhaps one of their greatest album of their career. There’s so many great songs but ‘Starstruck’ has to one of the highlights. It’s such a great little song that deserves more appreciation!! Have you listened to any of their other albums yet? ❤️
