Despite how small my role in the community may be, I feel it’s important to spread awareness about what is happening in Gaza and the injustices faced by Palestinians at the hands of Israel, with the support of the United States. Recently, some participants of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) were abducted after entering the Red Zone. For those who may not know, the GSF is an aid vessel organized by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) with the mission of breaking the Israeli blockade on Gaza and delivering vital aid in response to the ongoing famine and humanitarian crisis.
I urge you to take a moment to spread awareness in your own circles, and together, we can help protect the participants of the GSF and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
