I was born in England and trained as a chemist. I have earned a living in chemical industry and also by teaching the piano. An odd combination of professions, you might think, but you make ends meet in whatever method might be at hand. I have written and published several books, mainly in a humorous vein. However, I like to think that my stories also have deep insights into the human condition, although you might have to search hard to find them.
