~ Just Some Thoughts ~

   *You know, I look up at the sky ... confused*

 Their eyes light up with concealed laughter, but understanding. Every night I would say the same thing; so redundant, it's now second nature to our conversations. 

  In a way, it's a beauty I couldn't help. 

    *You, my love, are always confused* They would say. It was our thing, our continue play- or the chase in our words. 

  A smile forms on my lips, and in the distance I watched the wind dance to the rhythmic jive of the storm, leaves leaping here and there- and the wet stains of blanket waves, cleanse the path. So odd, so abnormal- but beautiful in sight. 

     My eyes meet the bleak fogs of the sky, gazing its aesthetic slowly, but thoughtfully. *The earth dances, you know ... but how?*

     I felt their intense gaze, and noticed the stir of motion, as they turn towards the dying sky. *Through the hands of misleading guidance. Through the hearts of those odd beings.*

     And I would ask, *Are we alone?*

      The gorgeous being would chuckle, that laugh so deep with silk, *That's our everlasting fear, the drowning  apprehension of being the rare breed, believing in what we do, in what we wish to be- only to realize ... maybe there is only us.*

        The wind would stop, and air would stand still, but the continuing beating of tears flow freely onto the earth, drowning the truths within it's frigid hands.
