My name is Jordan Walden. I used to write under the pen name Aisa Shigara on this site and after completing the first draft of my very first manuscript, Finding Home, through NaNoWriMo I have decided to change the profile name. I currently write only as a hobby but now through NaNoWriMo I am a published author, my dream of being an author is now a truth. :D I encourage all aspiring authors to participate in NaNoWriMo, and/or programs like it, and never give up because anything is possible.

I am currently a student at university and I write when I have time. Many of the stories on my profile are old and are in need   of editing which I'll get to one day. I am a self-published author though my book is nowhere near capable of putting me through university currently but it still completes part of my dream. My dream is to become several things. I wish to be an author, a civil engineer, a multilingual person/traveler, and an English teacher in a foreign country. At the moment, I am partially through becoming an author and civil engineer. The others are currently on hold due to the education system I am studying under.

I currently live in the lovely country of the United States of America in an apartment with my twin sister. We have a German Sheperd Malanoise mix named Jethro that we saved from starvation since the family we got him from could not afford to feed him. I currently am dating a lovely boy from my previous residence and despite the distance all is well. I am currently unemployed and live off my savings and book royalties, keeps gas in my car. I go to university full time and spend my free time studying, writing, and playing around with paint tool sai.
