Got an idea for a Girls Und Panzer fanfic but instead of the tanks being basically WW2 with latest designs being like like 1945-46, it's now from from around 1950-1960 ish. Got the idea bc I was watching a War Thunder video on the AMX-50 surbaissé and Panhard EBR (1954) and thought it would be fun to have tankery matches with 'em. Prob only gonna get off maybe a chapter or two before I loose interest (as usual) and I'm also not sure if I want to make everything up myself or let others submit crews for the fanfic. We'll see.

the time period is also possibly up to change. Might do later periods like 70s, 80s or 90s. I don't think I've seen a single Girld Und Panzer fanfic using relatively modern vehicles like Abrams, Leopards, T-72s, T-80s, Leclercs, Challangers and other modern ones

@jos1470 I think it describes the project better. After all, Bird cancelled all development because of how dangerous the “volunteers” were to basically everyone, including Raptor Machina.
            
            Now thinking about it, your idea of “throw it at somewhere and let it go wild” could make a good short story..

@KaijuBird it would seem more like just a living weapon rather than a soldier. Something you just drop in a zone like a bomb where it kills indiscriminately without control.
