Mare!

hi guys
          next semester is going to be updated…and there is a reason why it wasn’t. i did delete the entire new chapter i promised you bc it just wasn’t good—like, at all. i reread the entire fic to return back to why i was writing it and how i wanted my characters to progress. i’m shifting the plot a little, so that’s why rewriting this chapter has been a bit of a challenge.
          
          i also want to mention that there has been such large a fanfic smear campaign that it scared me into not saying anything /at all/. like i’ve mentioned before, my main account on twitter is kind of big, and i don’t want to be the target of a large hate campaign over a work that i’ve written. my fic isn’t very mainstream, so ik im not under a ton of pressure here, but the idea of being torn to shreds online for something i’ve created was too scary, and i apologize for shying away from returning.
          
          all in all, the fic will be updated. obviously my schedule with my classes and my internship has been far too turbulent thus far for me to give you an exact date, but i promise i’ll keep in better contact from here on out. i just couldn’t make myself say anything after deleting an entire chapter and then seeing the mass amounts of hate—i am not that brave.

i have not abandoned you all, i have just been doing very adult things and building my professional portfolio with fieldwork and research (conserving the planet and shit)
          
          if you’re still here, i appreciate you more than i can say. 
          
          the story is far from over, and it will absolutely not be left unfinished. thank you again for your patience for the 800th time— who knew being a biologist and having a writing hobby would be so much to balance?

          im doing some summer classes atm but i have time to write in the evenings, so ill def have her out this week i PROMISE

6k words done of the next chapter quite a few more to go but so much progress :) feels so good to be back to writing— thank you for sticking around :’)

Hey all!
          I just wanted to let you all know that I am slowly but surely working on the next chapter of next semester.
           I've been so busy recently I've hardly had time to think, so please bear with me. I'm finishing off my junior year of college, so my curriculum is really kicking my ass. I just wanted to apologize for my lack of communication & activity, but rest assured, she will be updated eventually.
