guys i have a drafted storyline for nowhereland, and i want to know if it's cool if i write long chapters and have a shorter chapter count (if i write longer ones i think it's going to be a 10-15 chapter deal, at least that's what i have planned) with the each chapter word count being around 7k to 10k... or are shorter chapters but more frequently posted updates the right way? i just want a general opinion!! i like the first option more but might to a mix of shorter and longer chapters if i continue to remain this busy maybe

i feel like longer chapters, shorter count works so long as it’s paced correctly. sometimes more chapters work better because it gives the reader time to digest especially if the scenes are rapidly changing , but when done properly it works very well !!!

@gutsscarlett oooh ive never read a steve's daughter fic, but i like the first two ideas a little more! and as for having too many ideas, you can see i deal with the same plague! the best way to deal with it is to just publish all the ideas you want to be out there, because that will get it out of your system, and then try to focus on writing whichever one you want to write most in the moment!! for me, frequent updates are less valued than the ones which are long and satisfying to me as an author
