@joy4no1 thanks for the support, I always feel limited with short stories. I'm planning another with three chapters but I think a thousand words is too short for me. I like developing the characters a bit and there's barely any room.
@Fuzzicat333 Sorry, messages are lagged! Spanner in the works ends abruptly, so continuing the story would clarify a few things. Writing only 1000words tends to leave out details, but I think it's a great story! Do YOU want to expand the short story is more important? As writers, we want to please every reader, but that's impossible so if you feel the characters and plot... go for it! Either way, you did an outstanding job. :)
