Ok pasting a multiple part rant/update (it’s long)
Hi everyone, I know it’s been a while, I’m sorry for abandoning you when I said I’d come back. I have tried so many times, I’ve written new fan fics completely like a RWBY one I have 9 chapter (2000+ word) ready to go. But my problem is I’m a perfectionist, so every time I come back, I always feel like what I wrote isn’t good enough. I thank you all for the reads, but I REALLY feel like my older books just don’t deserve the attention they have. I’m not happy with a lot of those stories, and because of the burn out and doubt I place on myself as a writer with how perfect I want everything to be, I end up just leaving when I say I’m coming back.
Now here comes a rant. I feel like there are a good handful of fan fics or what not that fail incorporate a story inception when they’re made. What I mean by this, is if it’s something like an X reader, the main character feels sidelined and it’s just a side character in the main story of the source material. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, that’s NOT how I want my stories to be written. I want the reader to feel involved by giving the reader their own story inside of a story.
