I am rewriting this book...once again, for a variety of reasons. The most important being that it's just simply not publishable and I've been getting to a stage where I'm taking my writing seriously and it is not just a fun little side hobby. It's what I want to do. By changes I mean it will be a whole lot shorter or my original plan of a duology might be split into a trilogy or maybe more. The chapters for this book, despite how much joy I take in writing them, take far too long. I mean, seriously, it takes me three months to write three chapters because each of them have around 8,000 words and it's really holding me back. When I started plotting this book, I was so immature and I did not plan to take writing seriously. Obviously, that has changed. I love the plot and I love the characters but I can give it so much of a better shot now. I know a lot of people don't read Mirage but I value each and every one of you and respect the connection you might have made with the characters. I know books being rewritten is annoying but I really think it's for the best. Again, I am by no means dropping this book. These characters are my best friends and I want to see them to the end. I will be back one way or another with them, whether it be through wattpad or through publishing.
