UPDATE: Looking for someone to beta read a new Harry Potter fanfiction involving a bisexual Slytherin OC and a lot of world-building and exploration of pureblood politics (and breaking the fun little prejudiced-world-view box of JK Rowling), a sort of fix-it for Rowling's casual annihilation of about 90% of Britain's oldest magical dynasties and their legacies.           	  Temeraire is on indefinite hiatus, I'm not really sure if I'll ever revisit the book and if I do it'll be a complete rewrite with a new plot but the same characters. I won't take it down just because people seem to respond to it and they're welcome to read what already exists for the time being. 
          	  
          	  Violent Delights is just on a temporary hiatus. I get writer's block pretty regularly especially when it comes to Twilight because there isn't really a lot of places to go when you're trying to somewhat follow the canon plot. I have more draft chapters written (up until mid-way through Eclipse), I'm just not satisfied with them and I want to edit them heavily before I post them and can't bring myself to do it when every time I stare at the page it just irks me because I've outgrown the writing style I've used in it. This will pass as soon as I work on something else, because that always sparks me back. 
          	  
          	  Which brings me to my new Harry Potter venture, which is effectively my spark-up project. Think of it as a fun, more challenging, out-of-your-element vacation to put you back into the groove of things before you return to your regular schoolwork. I'm hoping it'll reinvigorate my excitement and passion for writing so it doesn't feel like a chore anymore, because I really did love it more than anything.

@julesrowe Hey! Personally I'm admittedly not super interested in a Slytherin OC, and my question is sorta unrelated to the post in general. But does this post mean that you're back? 
          	  
          	  It's been a hot minute since you last updated your other fics, and while I won't push for a specific date for an update because as an author I know what that can do to a person, so all I'm asking is if you're still planning to continue them? I've come to adore both your Twilight fics, so all my question really boils down to is if they're effectively discontinued, or just seemingly on hiatus ❤️

So the New Moon chapters are gonna vanish for a little bit, I've realized during my rewriting of the 'Sam Uley paradox' and revamp of the Leah Clearwater arc that Gracie is way too chill and letting herself get drunk every night when she's fully aware (*SPOILER ALERT*) a vampire attacked her boyfriend. I mean, not even drained him, bit him, which means intent and planning. She's going to be way more focused on the obvious danger of the vampire than mourning the loss of Adam. Or she'd be using the danger as a distraction. So I'm gonna take down the New Moon chapters and start reposting after the holidays. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everybody. See you in 2023! :)

If you guys have been waiting for Chapter Eighteen of Violent Delights, don't panic, I've already finished New Moon in my drafts so it will all be uploaded. I've just been editing all of the chapters I already had quite heavily after I decided to change a pretty main plot point of Gracie being friends with Sam Uley and the wolves (I don't know why I ever thought that would work obviously she would not forgive them just like that for Adam?), and I also really want to get the pacing of her crush on Leah right like I don't want her to leap into it but I also kinda don't wanna slowburn that either (I think we have enough slowburn with Rose). What do you guys think? Thanks for reading so far!

@ julesrowe  i am excited for the next chapter. I'm not gonna lie. And yeah, we have enough slowburn with rosie. Kinda miss her tho :( but I love Leah !

I'm really kinda unsure about the new chapter. Do I make her friends with Sam Uley and the wolves? Or do I change it so she's aware of them but she wants nothing to do with them because a part of her will always blame them for Adam's death? I'm gonna sleep on it and maybe edit that tomorrow so we'll see. I wanna hear your thoughts on this though for sure. Let me know in the comments!
