I’m a bit of a writer myself so I just wanna help with a bit of constructive criticism, and I think your story would be even better with more detail on things like background, character images, emotions, actions, and environments. Maybe add some wind or sound and how things would feel, hear or look to the readers to give them a better feel of things. Hopefully what I said will help.
