nice pfp! that paining was made by ernst ludwig kirchner, he was a german painter known for contemporary art and focused on presenting emotions, sexuality and urban alienation using jagged brushstrokes, elongated figures and cramped streets/rooms. i’m currently studying him for my artist study in GCSE’s!

@ shesxroses Yes. I found Ludwig Kirchner when I was scrolling through DailyArt and really liked his work. I'm really invested in paintings, but I lowkey don't really know how to learn things about them. I really liked this painting because of the colours, and it kinda reminded me of myself.
