          Today is December 31st, and that always feels like a moment to pause and look back on the year that’s passed, and of course Wattpad is a huge part of that for me.
          
          Because wow… what a year.
          
          Exactly one year ago, on December 31st 2024, I made myself a resolution: I was finally going to write a story and publish it here. The story had been living in my head for months, but I was terrified to post it. Scared of reactions, scared of failure, scared of being seen.
          
          But with that New Year’s resolution, I took the leap.
          
          And here we are.
          
          Seventeen stories written. Two books filled with one-shots. An idea book bursting with concepts….
          
          My most-read book reaching over 53K reads (Under My Skin)
          
          In total… around 314K reads (which still feels unreal to type).
          
          And from 1 follower to 274 followers.
          
          Who would’ve thought that?! 
          
          Because I definitely didn’t lol.
          
          So from the bottom of my heart: thank you. For reading, for voting, for commenting, for supporting me in every way you did. It truly means more than I can put into words ❤️
          
          Writing has been my passion since I was around twelve years old (maybe even younger?), and reading your positive feedback—yes, sometimes mixed with a bit of criticism, because that’s part of the journey too—honestly warms my heart every single time.

          Today I just want to wish you all Merry Christmas. I hope you get to celebrate it in a place where you feel comfortable and safe, with the people you love.           It’s very cold where I live! –2°C, with a wind chill of –10°C hahah!! So definitely warm sweaters lol.

IMPORTANT NOTE ❤️✨
          
          I wanted to share something really exciting with you all! Recently, I received responses from two major production companies in my country that develop stories into series and films, and because of that, there is now a possibility that The Language of Us could move toward an on-screen adaptation with multiple episodes (READ POSSIBILITY)
          
          How surreal is that?!
          
          As part of this process, I’ve been asked to take the story offline and not share it elsewhere for now, which is why the English version is currently unavailable. I know this isn’t the most fun news for readers (sorry!), but this is honestly a huge and incredibly positive step for me as a writer, and something I never imagined when I first started posting this story…
          
          Thank you endlessly for all your love, support, comments, and enthusiasm. You’ve been a huge part of getting this story to where it is today ❤️ Don’t worry though, I still have plenty of other stories online, and I’m definitely not going anywhere.

Thank you so much for all the heartwarming messages ❤️ They truly mean more to me than I can put into words. The past few days haven’t been easy, but overall, I know things will be okay.
          
          As a small thank you, I wanted to share a short Christmas-style story (you can find the complete story on my account) It’s just something light and funny, written for fun, nothing big or special. Hi everyone 
          
          I never thought I’d have to write something like this, but right now I’m really not okay. Something happened in my personal life that completely knocked the ground out from under me, and at the moment I honestly don’t know how to deal with it or even how to put it into words.
          
          Writing is usually my safe place, the thing I turn to when everything feels heavy, but right now even that feels out of reach. I’m trying to breathe, to process, to understand what this means for me, and that takes more energy than I have at the moment.
          
          Please know that I’m not leaving my current story behind. I love it, and I will come back to it. I just need a little time right now, because at this moment… I can’t do anything. I need to pause, even if just for a while.

Aahhh, after putting my stories back online a few days ago… I still can’t believe your sweet reactions ❤️ And then today, when I checked the TayNew tag on Wattpad, I literally froze.
          
          “Between Rules and Feelings” is at number 1. “Beneath the Surface” is at number 5. And the other stories are scattered throughout the top fifty…
