Ok so I have no story for tomorrow but I did post a lot this week. I do have a really deep Percabeth prompt I want to make a story but I wanted to check it with y’all because I’m tired and I don’t want to start this kind of project with all this school going on. If y’all like it I’ll probably be posting it over winter break (around December) and writing it until it’s final release over the time of then. But for now, here’s the reeeeeaaaaaallllly long prompt.
What if Percy had woken up with no memories at all? We all know that he had none except for Annabeth, but what if even she were taken from him? When Annabeth returns, she sees that Percy is a completely different person, and has a whole other life that had nothing to do with her. Instead of them both falling into Tartarus, Percy saves Annabeth because it’s his fatal flaw to saves the ones he’s closest to, and maybe in that moment he felt a little bit that he remembered what they had, but forgets it almost immediately after the initial fall. When he lands in the river Cocytus, it takes all his willpower to pull himself out and trek across the Underworld with no support. Once they close the Doors of Death, Percy is once again changed, and this time it’s harder to bring him back. Depression overcame him, and all Percy thinks about is his journey, the rivers, the monsters, everything. Not anything anyone can do to help him works. Not even the most positive of people can pull him out and bring him back. Annabeth is heartbroken, because when he saved her from falling, she thought something had sparked and he might return to her. But after Percy returns from Tartarus, she has lost him once again.
