I honestly wish there were more books out there that had an Asian, Hispanic, or African American protagonist. It just makes this ally e more difficult to find a book to make a film about. I'm Asian and making this film would generally help me add more to my résumé. I know it may seem a bit selfish but doing this would benefit all of us (ones contributing to film and the author). This would be for fun too so let me know if anyone has a book with an Asian lead or anything :)
