My dad and I got waitlisted for GUTS tour (Olivia Rodrigo) and he got taken off the waitlist earlier today. He tried to get the tickets but somebody beat him to it and the rest were too expensive ($800+) so :( only chance I got now is resale tickets
^ rn prices r $1,000+ but the closer the date comes the cheaper they get so I'll wait

@ourstargirl ikr, I'm so sorry :( not only is it hard to have them come near you, (+ we had to drive 4 hours for taylor) and have the money to afford it, but it's so aggravating when somebody else takes your ticket in ticketmaster right when you're gonna check out and then there's just none left. Somebody should start a protest to make these concert prices go down bc it's getting ridiculous.

@justaweeb31 honestly my dad like grew up going to concerts and gigs but I’d have to use my whole car savings just to go see Taylor once in the uk, becaude she doesn’t have as many shows here it’s so expensive I cant, and like they only do shows in popular city’s in the uk so if your not from london or Manchester its travel money and hotels so you can’t get like last minute tickets :( it’s so shit

@justaweeb31 I've normalized the prices by now but it's still just a concert. Back then things used to be so much cheaper. Concerts were like $30 (back then meaning like when my dad was a teen), and like vinyl records were around $7. Now records are averagely $25 or $40, and can go way over $90. The other day when I got the lana resale tickets for $159, i saw someone selling one for $53,185...I'm not made of money !!
