I am just distressed, simply distressed because of how this world works. In this platform, I've seen horrible stories and amazing stories and what I've genuinely observed is...a very sad plight. Stories so unique, so different written by author who actually care about their writing get very less recognition as compared to the ones who write for the sake of writing, and it's well obvious by the way that they write. I am pretty sure a good author knows the depth of their book characters and try to do justice to those characters. Because each and every character has a story. But in this platform, most of the characters are simply...well, disrespected by making them, cold, distant and arrogant and even if that is forgiven, because, well we do see people like that irl. But I cannot tolerate the characters being exploited. Especially when a character is loving that they are getting exploited...? What sort of melodrama is that? I hate that many people "glorify" rape and unconsented sex in this platform. See, write about rape and write about unconsented sex...but what makes them think it's enjoyable? I feel like it is a huge disrespect to the actual victims...Also, about amazing authors. They hardly get recognition for ex: kingdombyers...istfg she's such an amazing author, her books are chef's kiss although they are fanfictions, they have unique plot and amazing characters who are actually relatable. Idk man, sometimes I even feel like if I stay long enough in this platform, I might actually start writing horribly. I didn't start writing here to gain attention but to simply just keep a record, a way in which I can just keep writing...but even that seems like it's impossible.
