          while i'm working on chapter nine of surge, i've decided to release the trailer which you can now watch ! i linked it in chapter zero and while i know it's not a new chapter, i feel like it perfectly encapsulates the vibes i'm going for with this story. it's not perfect, but i am proud of it and i hope you guys like it too !

          i just wanted to reach out to you, my eleven wonderful followers, and ask you all what you'd like to see from me. if there's a story you would like to see updated first or a spin-off of 'daddy issues' after the unfortunate and untimely demise, really anything you'd like to see. i think it's important to circle back to the people who are actually consuming my work since you guys are my biggest inspiration, if that makes sense. i just want to hear from you, anything you have to say at all. take this as a safe space to voice your opinions and wants :)

          i just wanted to update you a bit on my life and the happenings of it all. i've been trying to get into writing more and putting out new chapters because it's something i really love to do and i'm so thankful that this is a space that i'm allowed to do it in and you guys read what i put out, i mean, truly, it's an incredible thing and i am so grateful to you all for this. 
          
          however, i've been dealing with an illness for around two years now and it only seems to be getting worse. i'm taking measures and steps that i need to take in order to better my wellness if not become completely cured of this illness. but unfortunately, this means i'm not always up to writing and i won't force myself to write either because i find that to be wholly unsatisfying for me and for you as well and i want to put better things out into the world than something that's forced or half-assed.
          
          to expound just a bit more on that, i'm putting out a new harry styles fanfic that i've been working on and truly have fallen in love with and i hope you'll give it a shot. i know it's pretty different from my usual content, but what can i say? i'm hyper fixated on two men who have no idea i exist :) 
          
          anyway, i'm not sure when the updates will come or which story will be updated first, but i promise you that they all will be. i want each of my fics to feel genuine and really envelop you the way they envelop my mind and unfortunately, art and writing takes a freak load of time and patience which, once again, i want to thank you for.
          
          if you've reached the end of my word salad i want to say thank you and give you a massive virtual hug. thank you for your support, i love you so much. remember to drink loads of water and take care of yourself.

          it's been a while since we talked but i hope you guys are enjoying the changing seasons ! i've missed you so much and i'm hoping to get new chapters out soon, i want to try to start releasing in clumps so you have more to read when i do post which could mean larger gaps but i'm working on that. 
          
          i'm not sure if anyone really reads these but it gives me a bit more peace of mind to let any one of you who has either read my work before, or just stumbled upon it whats going on with my stories. i love to write and i'm really hyperfixated on my favs right now so hopfully that will mean new content and more activity on this account.

          sad news today: wattpad took down 'daddy issues' for a violation of the community guidelines. i am working to get it back up but i just wanted to let you know that's what happened and why it is no longer available on my account or in your library. i do have a few chapters saved to my computer, though, it is not the full story but rather, the unedited chapters 22 through chapter 40. i am so sorry for any inconvenience, i am working to get it back.
          
          i wanted to also take this time to thank you all for your support on my work. it means the world to me seeing people are consuming my version of escapeism and commenting and voting on the various chapters. i have plans to continue writing in other stories (some that are still in the drafts) and i'm hoping to be a bit more active on here in the coming weeks. 
          
          once again, i am so sorry to come out of my absence in this way, but i really wanted to let you guys know and apologize once again.
