@justsoyouknow345; Hi Fabian, it’s really good to hear from you. I’m sorry about the setback with your foot, but I’m relieved the medication is helping and that it’s settling down again. I can only imagine how frustrating those flare-ups must feel after you’ve made progress. I hope it continues improving and gives you some consistency.
Thank you for what you said about Louisiana, my girlfriend, and the writing. That meant more than you probably realize. You’re right, it has been a big adjustment, and sometimes I do put too much pressure on myself. Hearing you say there’s no pressure from you actually lifted some of that weight.
I think you’re right that enjoyment matters more than forcing it. I’m trying to remind myself that writing is something I love, not something I need to measure myself against. Maybe it will return naturally once life settles a bit more.
And thank you for understanding the distance at times. That kind of patience means a lot. I appreciate you continuing to show up and share parts of your life with me, too.
I’d really love to hear more about how you’re doing overall. How are things with your friends and family lately? Is work still feeling good after your anniversary? And how are you feeling personally, outside of everything going on with your foot? Share whatever you’re comfortable sharing. I genuinely enjoy hearing about your world.
Take care of yourself, especially that foot. I’ll be looking forward to hearing from you again.
Always,
Catherin
