@justtcrunch I get that as well. I think that if they’re serious about getting authors who produce CSAM/CSEM & gory violence they should have been very specific with their guidelines and be willing to go through every account throughly instead of removing thousands of books in one swoop.

@JadaNOTPinkett most definitely, because they’ll just delete your books with no warning, and some of their guidelines are a bit biased given they’d vary from person to person, what one individual thinks isn’t always the same for others and I think determining what’s unnecessary and not when it comes to these books is truly not something they can dictate so swiftly. Unless the story is chapter for chapter of smut, or the stories depict sick nasty things like minors and smut and r*pe, etc. then that’s not really their place to determine yk? Their guidelines also talk about restricting the use of violence in stories, which don’t get me wrong, I understand why some of these were put into place, excessive smut or weird creepy stories of abuse and underage children is just wrong, but I’d like to know how they judge in this system of so many authors with several stories under their belts. I know I’d had nothing wrong in a story on my alt account and I got an email about how my book had been removed for whatever reason after I’d been inactive there for a couple years

It’s so sad when I see authors that I know had the gift of writing, let AI consume them and stop using their actual writing skills because trust us writers and real supporters know the difference between your old works and the new ones that have lost their quality. Such a damn shame.
