Hello, Creative Minds!
Can we all agree that writing has a mind of its own?
Some days, the words won't stop flowing. Other days, you spend half an hour changing one paragraph... only to realize the first version was probably fine.
So, how's it been for you lately? Working on something exciting? Finally got past a scene that was giving you trouble? Or are you currently negotiating with your characters to cooperate?
We'd love to hear what you've been up to.
Now for today's little challenge:
Write a scene where two characters remember the same moment differently.
Maybe it's their first meeting, an old argument, a farewell, or a promise they made years ago. Neither of them has to be wrong. Sometimes people walk away from the exact same moment carrying completely different versions of it.
Keep it around 150 words. Don't worry about making it polished—just write the scene that comes to you first.
If you do give it a go, share a few lines below! And don't forget to read what everyone else comes up with. It's always fun seeing how one prompt turns into a dozen completely different stories.
Happy Writing!

@justwriteit I totally agree lol. This last chapter that I recently published in 'The Unseen', I've been trying to complete it for the past two weeks! And it wasn't even funny! I mean, the chapter wasn't a filler or anything.. it was a very important part of the plot! Yet anytime I try writing another sentence I stare at the screen then be like, "Nope, can't do it. Another time." And truthfully, I'm planning to write another chapter today from another character's POV and I guess.. yeah, I should prolly start with his perspective on a previous scene. That would be.. easier to swallow I think?

@justwriteit Oh god, I know that problem...I sometimes wish I could write one complete book in one sitting - it is so hard to get into that same mood the next day...but I love making pinterest boards for OCs and stories because it helps a bit.
