          yes, it's been like a million years since i've been on here (at this moment in time, I have 383 notifications omg). a couple months ago, I moved back to college for spring trimester. between being insanely busy with classes, my sorority, and other life things (in addition to my school's wifi blocking the wattpad app...smh) I haven't been able to get on here much. (I think I also was a little burnt out from reading on here so much...and i got a little (a lot) addicted to a few authors on ff.net, so if y'all want some recs I have SO MANY!) all this to say, I kinda took a break, not intentionally but definitely was needed. but I missed y'all so much & can't wait to be "back"! my term is coming to an end & I'm heading home soon, and I'm really excited to get caught up on all the stories that I've been missing out on! (AS WELL AS finally having some time to write, because I've been DYING to work on things lately!!)

hey i was wondering what other greys fics you’d recommend reading. ive been scouring for some super good ones

OK i gotta put y’all on something. i have been IN LOVE with this story forever and y’all need to check it out asap. this last chapter AHH i cried, and if y’all know me, you know i don’t cry easy. (i have cried at grey’s a total of 4 times: happy tears when merder gets zola, when cristina left, when derek died, and when mer talked to jo in her depressive episode) but this story & the characters and the emotions and EVERYTHING. it’s incredible. this review/rec is horribly written bc my emotions are still all over the place after reading the newest chapter, but please please check out this beautiful story <3

i know most of y’all are here from/for my oneshot book, but i’m just curious what y’all think about querencia? predictions, are you interested/do you like it, etc? i have most of the story (at least the major parts... & a sequel, actually) planned out, but i definitely have to be in a specific headspace to write it bc gen is very much based on myself. anyway, i’m kinda feelin like I might be in that place, but it could also be a “good” (relative to writing, anyway) space to be in for some of my oneshot ideas. which would y’all prefer me to work on? is the weekend already over so I kinda failed? - YES. but is it still kinda the weekend bc i have yet to go to sleep? -also yes. does that, then, mean that I didn't lie when I promised the one shot would be out this weekend? -I HOPE SO BC ITS OUT!!!! ngl I kinda wanted to keep working on it but i've been doing that for ages and it was time to just publish it. so yeah! finally!! she posted the thing!

OK SO: i make no promises for the one shot being out today, but IT WILL BE OUT THIS WEEKEND IF IT KILLS ME! you may be thinking, “jacki, you have said this before.” (please tell me i’m not the only one reading that in meredith grey’s voice hehe) but i SWEAR it’s coming! i’ve been editing this week but my new term of classes also just started and life is v crazy. the topic of this one is close to my heart (and not just bc it’s merder haha), so i really wanna be happy with it, but at the same time, i sometimes get a lil perfectionistic :’) all this to say- it’s coming! & after all this waiting & crap i’ve put y’all thru, i really hope it doesn’t suck & that y’all like it!
