when i say that writing some of these chapters has me wanting to rip my hair out … i mean that.

chapter 3 is … partially in the works. chapter 2 should be up by wednesday at the latest.
          
          (gonna be honest and say that act 1 is equal parts my favorite and least favorite part of writing guard dog. acts 2 and 3 are wild though. we’re obviously a ways away from that but oof … the drama. can’t wait to work on them tbh.)

one day we will have the conversation abt how ‘how soon is today?’ by the smiths is INCREDIBLY regulus black coded.

i’m actually in tears bc i just read back chapter two of guard dog. (finished writing it yesterday!)

          (ngl, depending on the reaction i get from my friend? i might actually keep it that length. bc when i tell ya’ll…i had a BALL writing that chapter.)

can’t focus on writing lia and sirius as teenagers bc i’m too busy writing them as parents; can’t focus on writing them as parents bc i’m too busy writing them as teenagers.
          
          my god, these characters will never know peace as long as i’m alive.

going on the hunt for more mutuals 

besties … i feel a rebrand on the horizon. sorry to do this to ya’ll AGAIN, but … it’s needed. so with that being said, i’ll be on a (semi-official) hiatus for the rest of the month. i’m going to try and work on multiple projects, instead of just one at a time in order to have more content out for you when i return <3 (i say as if i’m some big deal LMAOOOO)
          
          also, i might come up with a book of writing tips. mainly focused on how to feel comfortable with writing & how to feel less insecure over time as you do so. obviously, i’m not a perfect writer myself. but yeah! things will be under construction for a bit, but i’ll keep you guys updated on what’s going on! whether it has to do with me extending the hiatus or just letting you know what progress i’ve made. but yeah! sorry again, i know this is very annoying. but i cannot write confidently and consistently if i don’t feel confident in what i’m doing.
          
          i’m not giving up on stories, because i am very passionate about the stories i tell, hence why they keep coming back in ‘new’ formats. but if the format isn’t right for me or the story, i can’t feel 100% positive about what i write.

i have been writing the same chapter for 3 days bc i cannot think of how to end it  i’m at 1.7k words already; and i’m aiming for 3.4…will we get there? who knows atp
