I hope everybody knows that the reason "the holiday season" is used instead of just saying Christmas for PAL, is for two reasons.
1) There is no evidence that they would celebrate Christmas outside of that being what the Huang Twins celebrate. Within the context of my story, they believe in Infinity, who is never really implied to have religious holidays tied to them within the story. They might just be like little days made by traditions.
2) Inclusivity. Now, I personally also celebrate Christmas, but I know not everybody does. Some people celebrate Chanukah, others Kwanzaa, others still Yule. But they are all usually within the late December-early January time frame where the story ends off at, so for the sake of inclusivity, I decided to leave it vague on purpose. Even 15 year old me was thinking progressively.
Anyways, I refuse to change this detail going forward. Everybody in the new humanized version on AO3 will not celebrate any particular holiday.
