Hey kKimkookie69,
I hope you're doing okay.
I wanted to open up honestly and share everything from my heart. Recently, I translated your fanfiction “Marry Me Hubby” into Urdu and uploaded it on my YouTube channel. But the truth is — I didn’t know at all that permission was needed for that.
I also made the mistake of not giving you credit in the post. Not because I wanted to steal anything, but because I was completely unaware of how things work in this space. I just started my channel 1.5 months ago, and back then, I didn’t understand the full process or the importance of proper consent from the author.
Your complaint led to the video being taken down, and it deeply affected me — not just because of the takedown, but because I hurt you as a writer without meaning to. I truly, genuinely apologize for that.
I respect your work and creativity so much. Marry Me Hubby is such a beautiful, fun story and I loved it — that’s why I wanted to bring it to Urdu-speaking fans who can’t read English.
But I now understand: loving a story doesn't give me the right to share it without the author's permission. I’ve learned my lesson. I’ve removed everything and won’t ever use your work again without permission.
I’m not asking you to forgive me right away, but I do want to be honest and say:
I’m truly sorry if I hurt your feelings or disrespected your creation.
And… if possible — if your heart allows —
please consider taking back the copyright complaint. It has had a big impact on my channel and I promise, from now on, I will always ask for permission first and give full credit with respect.
Thank you for reading.
With sincerity and respect,
