Hey everyone!
          
          Sorry it's been a bit; I hope you all had a good holiday season, and the start of 2024 has been treating you well!
          
          As I have mentioned before, serious changes are being made to TBOMTBOD, so I have finally marked it as complete. For now. Please bear with me; it's been difficult to get major writing time in. Eventually I will get my act together and clean up that story, (perhaps that would make a good 2024 resolution), but in the meantime, it is officially on hold. 
          
          However, I have not completely stopped writing. Just last month, I created a writing account on instagram. It's mostly full of thoughts and incredibly short poems (as well as a bit of art). While larger projects have been a challenge as of late, this account has been weirdly therapeutic, and keeps me writing every day.           First and foremost, how are you all doing? (I hope the answer is "good" or "well," but if not, I hope things get better for you.) Just for kicks, here's a question for today: What is the weirdest thing you've heard (or read) someone say in the past 24 hours?
          
          -On to reading and writing matters-
          I would like to apologize to any of my readers, especially those of you reading TBOMTBOD, for my lack of updates on... anything... I hope while you have been waiting that you've found other worthwhile stories to fill your time (and if you have, feel free to recommend.) Anyway, some of you may already know this, but I want you to know that I am currently in the process of rewriting TBOMTBOD. If you would like to see what I have so far, let me know through comments or a DM!
          
          Finally, if you are looking for a good read, check out the Entwined Tales, ( https://www.entwinedtales.com/ ), a collaborated and intertwined series by six authors, including @AyaLing (Aya Ling, now known as Arisa May), that follow a very large and very special family. Or perhaps consider the authors' individual works. Fairy tale retellings make quite the specific genre, but if you start down the indie book road, there's a good chance you'll love it. You never know what you'll find in the independently published world, and there are many hidden gems that are waiting to be discovered :)

          Quick announcement today: I updated TBOMTBOD. It's a sorta short chapter this time, and it's been in the works for... almost a year now (?!), so there's probably a good amount of mistakes in it.

          I'm sorry I've been MIA recently! Writing has been kicking my butt. Never fear, though! I AM working on the next chapter of TBOMTBOD. Hopefully I'll have it posted before the end of the month.
