♪♪♪ . . . Hi! My name is Kae. I am eighteen years old, and I want to start writing for myself.

I started my Wattpad career sometime in April of 2019. But before then, I wrote a bunch of stories from the time I was young. Whether it was me too young to know how to spell and have help from my mom or grandma, making fanfics, coming up with OCs and their lives, and eventually plots.

I’ve always loved to write. However, here, I never really wrote for myself. I would ask myself, “Who would read a silly story about my characters?” but … that’s just a book or a movie! You don’t need to know the characters' entire biography to be interested in reading the story. You just have to give it a chance.

This is what I’m doing. I’m giving myself a chance. I’m going to try to push past my insecurities about my writing and try to make something for myself. Something I hope people might enjoy while I work down this path. Even if deep down I’m terrified I’m not good enough, and maybe my plots might be a little cliché, but I like my ideas. And when my time on this earth ends with only me knowing these characters and crazy storylines, then that will be my biggest regret.

I want to try this. I’m young, and I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I’m sick of people telling me I’m wasting my talents. So, let’s see where I am in a year, and what I’ve done. Even if it’s a little bit. I know I’m not extraordinary, as you can probably tell by my mistakes here, but I’ve been practicing for the past six years. And guess what? I’m proud. Though, hopefully, future me will be more proud than I am today <3 ✌︎︎
