          Brightest Star got an Amby! It’s been a few years since I’ve thought about this story so I’m very thankful <3
          
          CH standalone progress is going. slowly, but it is going. I will likely be editing it to post during my spring break.
          
          In the meantime, I caught the hockey romance bug, so I am posting a new thing in March to make up for the long wait. It’s just as fun, just with less imposter syndrome stress as I work through finishing the Crushed Hearts standalone, and it has been giving me a great brain break, so I figured I’d share it and see what happens.
          
          No ONC for me this year, but feel free to chat about yours if you’re entering! ♡♡

          Saying goodbye to a story is always hard, and this one meant so much to me. While this is the end of the road for me in Originals, I am so grateful that Wattpad took a chance on me, and my stories, and saw something in my abilities. I am also so grateful for anyone who read it and enjoyed, because you are all the absolute best!!
          
          housekeeping updates, or the "what now?" updates:
          I am taking a break from regular posting for a while. I prefer to post once I'm confident in the draft I have, which means I will be waiting until the story I'm working on is fully done before I put it on here. Currently, I'm making my way through the second standalone in the Crushed Hearts series, which can be read without the knowledge of the first one. It will also be totally free to read!
          I plan on posting with updates as much as possible, so as to keep me accountable, while I write. I am also bouncing around with different plans and tandem secret-working on other drafts (more sports, lots more romance, workplace romance?) so I also have new, exciting things on back-burners to explore.
          
          This experience has (I feel) improved my writing by bounds, so I'm not leaving the contemporary space anytime soon. I guess I live here now.

          housekeeping update:
          
          If you are reading Crushed Hearts as part of the free reading event, this chapter is the last one that will be unlocked, as the event ends this Monday (the 22nd)!
          
          The next chapter will be locked. There are fifty chapters in the story in total. This means that if you’re caught up, the last six chapters are all you’d have to unlock, should you wish to, which is the cheapest route I would suggest considering the way coins work. Chapters that were previously free will be locked again from September 22nd onwards, hence why I’m writing this reminder so that everyone is prepared (and nobody loses their place)!
