Sorry! I had a little hiatus because I was stressed for final exams. But they're practically over now, so i'll be able to post next chapter for ACCIDENTALLY YOURS in a day or two.
I also want to take a moment of gratitude to the people who are continuously reading my stuff, and I love to see a familiar face in the comments, someone who comments or often interact with my writing. It makes me indescribably happy.
I've also been writing a short story in my creative writing course. It's inspired by the 1980's film "when the wind blows". The film is set in an alternative universe where they show what would've happened if a nuclear bomb would've struck down on Britain during the cold war. As the Soviets were threatening a nuclear attack toward Britain, they prepared their citizens with a lot of information on what to do to prepare for it, as well as what to do if the bomb really struck down. It's a really interesting part of history in my opinion since the government knew a lot about what radiation did to a human being, but they didn't want civilians to know because it would've caused panic. So they gave a lot of strange instructions, for example, putting yourself in a large paper bag to prevent the radiation from reaching you (In reality, the paper bags would act as body bags because the government were sure majority of the population would die from a nuclear attack. so they basically put themselves in their own body bags.) Anyway, I wrote a short story based on this. It's about a couple, Benjamin Davis and Jonathan Smith who live together in a small cottage in a rural city outside of London (just as the couple in the movie.) It follows their lives from when they receive the letter about the situation until the aftermath of the bomb. I'm actually pretty happy about what I came up with, please tell me if any of you would be interested in reading this. in that case i will post it!
And again, thank you so much for reading my stuff, I love you all so so much!!
