MOnKe'J is an upcoming artist from Memphis, TN that possesses dynamic vocal abilities influenced by his gospel roots. MonKe'J has performed on stage since the age of 6, performing throughout Alabama with the "See the Good Kids." He later opened for Ne-Yo and has performed in multiple arenas throughout the mid-south region. As a songwriter, he uses the style and skill similar to Michael Jackson and Frank Ocean. His music and poetry is a movement back to love by creating a message of positivity and acceptance of all. MonKe'J stopped his musical career at a young age and pursued a career as a Registered Nurse.  After working in the medical profession for over a decade, MOnKe'J decided to follow his true passion as an all around artist.
