          anyway. I wanted to give a quick update on Yusei fic rewrite shenanigans. Ya girl has a birthday coming up—my 21st is on the 20th, yay me!—so I will be uploading the two versions of Chapter 36 and the epilogue (provided I can come up with something I don’t hate) after my birthday. The two Chapter 36es will be coming on June 26th, while the epilogue and official playlist will (hopefully) follow on July 3rd.

Hope y’all are doing good! Of the two people who responded to my poll on Chapter 35 of “Who I Thought” (ty to y’all btw), they both said they wanted the spicy scene. Since I don’t think two people represent the entirety of my reader base for that book, I’m going to upload two versions of the penultimate part to that book. One will be spicy, and one won’t. In lieu of that, this week won’t have a new chapter since I’ll be polishing off the two versions of chapter 36. What I WILL be uploading is the official story playlist. Hopefully that makes up for waiting on a new chapter!

Happy Easter to all my lovely friends and readers here! I hope your day is filled with friends, family, and the joy of Jesus Christ our risen Lord!

Story time with Auntie Kal about school. 
          
          First, a piece of advice to any of y’all who are in college or about to start that part of your life. Whatever your degree is, make sure you’re looking for internships or fellowships while you’re in school because that degree won’t be enough on its own. Future employers will not care about what degree you have or where you got it. What they do care about is experience. Especially if you’re like me and going into entertainment. It’s a fickle industry, so do whatever freelance you can to get your name out there. 
          
          Second, actual story time. Here’s something that no one’s going to tell you about being in the studio and recording or producing music: it can get really boring really fast. You don’t just sing the song and go, you might be singing one line 50+ times. If you’re behind the console, you’ll listen to a single song so many times, you might never want to hear it again. And look, I really love the song I’m covering for my project. But it’s also a total earworm, so I’ll be humming the hook for the foreseeable future. 
          
          Let me know in the comments if I should release it when it’s done, yes? 

Welp. The day is finally here. 
          
          My roommate this past semester at school is from Japan. In less than 12 hours, she’ll be flying back there. Rooming with an exchange student has been the coolest thing, but the saddest part is seeing her go. We were both crying so hard earlier as we hugged each other goodbye. 
          
          So I’m now saving up to go to Japan and see her again.

          I don’t discuss politics here because I want it to be a space where we can all enjoy our favorite characters without judgment, but seeing as I got to vote in my first presidential election, this is a milestone for me. Under a Trump administration, I’m proud to call myself an American. #MakeAmericaGreatAgain !!!
