To my fellow POC:
Do you guys ever just read a reader insert and they say something like “I put my long luscious hair into a messy bun”? Ummm no sis my hair is too short for that. Authors need to stop assuming all of us are white or all of us have long weave. Some of us like to go natural and some of us have short curly hair NATURALLLY. If you really can’t make a fanfic with some diversity in your story then....yikes. I even read a story where it said something like “he put his hand on my silky pale white skin” BITCH- like y’all know not all people are white, right? I just had to come on here and rant. I kinda wanna make a ranting book lol
