This is a glimpse of what the future will likely hold for my story Wraith - the Fleeting Shadow.

Unleashing a guttural howl, Percy reached out to the elements. Claiming control of his father's domain, the raging seas rising and falling in a terrifying display. Raising his hands to the sky, Percy gritted his teeth, fists clenched in agony. The power required was tearing him apart piece by piece, unbearable pain overwhelming his every thought.

The ocean rose, gargantuan tides flying wild as they climbed higher into the sky. Swirling around the demigod as he strained, willing the raging seas to climb even higher, to grow even wilder.

It was surely a sight to behold. Terrifying and, mesmerizing the ocean bent to Percy’s will, with great pillars of water rising and ravaging the skyline as frantic citizens fled the scene in droves.

Each pillar appeared to have a life of its own, swirling and snapping and exploding with powerful blasts. The many heads of a Hydra twisting and turning as they danced erratically through the open air. Their movements wild and diverse, impossible to follow as they looped and dived.

Screaming once more in agony, Percy glared at the assembled heroes as he slammed his fists against the earth. His blue-green irises swirling with such undeniable power, such unrepentant rage as his fists shattered the ground beneath his fists.

The extent of his rage surging forth.

Hey everyone, I've posted the first chapter of my new story. It is a prequel of sorts for Wraith - the Fleeting Shadow and I would be interested to hear what you think of the first chapter. Its called 'Of Death and Titans'
