I have recently completed my first novel, Alex and The Castle of Frozen Light and am winding my way through the pages of the second in the Akasha Chronicles.  I would very much like my first novel to be published through traditional channels so that I have an honest to goodness paper book that I can put on my bookshelf amongst the likes of Joseph Delaney, J.K Rowling and Terry Pratchett. 

The question is......am I a story teller worthy of sitting on the same shelf as such esteemed authors? There is only one way to find out and that is to let people read my work.  

I may put the opening chapters of Alex and the Castle of Frozen Light on Wattpad at some point to see what my fellow writers and readers think but for now, I will publish the opening chapter of another novel I have been working on.  I do hope you like what you read but feel free to be brutally honest in your comments.  The cover I have used is only for Wattpad so is temporary - I know it's not the greatest so please excuse it :-)
