Ranking my RP couples based on how likely I think they are to stay together after the RP:
          
          1. Vincent and Lonnie: together forever. They have 2-3 kids and never get over their honeymoon phase. They practice gentle parenting and once their children grow up and had kids of their own, they are the favourite grandparents. As empty nesters, they sometimes go days without saying a word, because they are so content to be in each other’s presence, and know each other so well that words aren’t really needed.
          
          2. Sam and Marina: they have their ups and downs, because they both want very different things in life, but they always reach a compromise. They spend the first part of their marriage travelling and settle down to have kids in their late 30s, early 40s.
          
          3. Alice and Adrian: there are definitely some nights when they sleep in different rooms. Alice forever harbours resentment over the loss of her career. But they always make up, because the bickering and arguing is part of what makes them love each other. They have twins.
          
          4. Azlia and Rhian: they have one boy, named Teddy. They both love each other (in their own way), but Rhian isn’t good for Azlia, and she passes away in her 50s. It takes losing Azlia to realise just how much Rhian needs her, and he abdicates the throne that he has fought so hard to win. 
          
          5. Carmen and Lucas: they are together for about five years, but it is a messy relationship that ends in an explosive breakup. They reconnect in middle age and fall in love all over again.
          
          6. Aedammair and Vikramditya: They are together for about a year before they realise it isn’t going anywhere, and part ways as good friends.
          
          7. Eirian and Iris: it was a one night stand. They never speak again.
          
          Hopefully I got names right and sorry if anyone is mischaracterised.

Reading Red White and Royal Blue, thought I would really dislike because I’m super critical of books and stuff but I’m really really loving it, like a lot. Definitely super surprised by how much I’m enjoying it, especially cuz I don’t typically like romance novels

some highlights from today:
          
          customer walks up to the register and asks me “Can you tell me what store this is?” like our name isn’t plastered on every single surface
          
          customer asked a bookseller in kids “do you sell out-of-print books?” please, repeat yourself and you’ll find the answer to your question.
