          Traditionally we Americans use our first names socially and for business. However I use my middle name Terry socially.
          
          I look forward to reading your story.  Since you have grown up in a culture different from my own, it should be interesting to see how you handle your plot and express yourself.

Okay,  I am of the opposite gender to you.  What do I call you?

          You're right. In Japan, friends call you with your first name, but opposite gender and teachers or your boss calls you by your last name.

I believe Japanese tradition calls for the family name first.  So is your name Tsutsumi?   Writing is a craft.  I presume that English is not your first language.   So read good literature in English.  Do not attempt to imitate older classics such as the Bronte sisters, or anything written before a hundred years ago.  I have seen movies filmed in Japan.  Japanese know how to put a story together just as well.  Only some things in your culture will not move others here in the USA.  But take heart.  Write me specific questions if you wish. It's good to have you on Wattpad.
