Hey...it's been a while...if you don't remember me I'm the one that wrote the kataang high school fanfic where they were pro benders or something, then took it down 3 years ago. This was because:
A) While I still love atla, I don't really ship that much anymore like that. Don't get me wrong, kataang is cute and all, but I just don't go that hard anymore
B) It is just really poorly written. Even me three years ago was embarrassed by how bad it was, and I've developed as a writer a lot in the past 3 years, let alone 5.
C) I've grown up a lot. Fun fact: the entire time I was writing that I was in MIDDLE SCHOOL. I was a middle schooler writing a fanfiction about high school. As someone now entering their senior year of high school, the person who wrote this fanfiction is an entirely different person from who I am today. I don't think I have ever told a soul irl that I was a semi-famous writer on wattpad (seriously, 7k views was way too many for a ten-chapter, unfinished work as amateur as mine was)
This leads me to uh...I guess for all 2 of you reading this...my conclusion. I just wanted to make this post to tell you why I privated my semi-successful work: and to say (since I've had people ask before) that I probably won't ever make it public again. Even if it brought joy to others, which it did based on you guys's lovely comments (they always made my day), it is way, way too cringe in the state it's currently in. If I do stuff here in the future, which is highly unlikely, the quality of my work will likely skyrocket, works will become less shippy, and it will probably be a number of years from now. I'll let you guys know if I ever release anything, though I doubt it'll ever be as successful as that silly high school ship fanfic I wrote in middle school.
