Normal kid in Linguistics class learning about child language learning: "wow cant wait to apply this to real life research on critical period studies and second language acquisition"

Chapter 1 is out!
Quite quickly, if I may add, haha :)
Please let me know how you like it so far by leaving comments. I know it's mostly expository so far, but I would love to know if all of y'all would want more quick escalation, or a slower build up. ^~^
          Thank you,
          Diya <3

Been listening to a lot of Jpop/Jrock recently, and stumbled across a particular line from a particular song that really stuck with:

          明日の君から僕は君を知らない。
Starting from tomorrow, I won't know you anymore.

Now, in context this line isn't what most people would WANT to hear, but I still think it's pretty savage nonetheless.

Out of context, I think it really speaks a lot about letting go. Maybe encounters are meant to be just that- transient moments in time and space continuum that shouldn't be dwelt upon afterwards.

This applies to people as well. People come and go, and it's okay to want to know a person for only a matter of seconds before forgetting about them completely.
