I'm Mama of four (Kristen, new mama; Nikki, HK S19 / world traveling restauranteur; Jamie, pet sitter extraordinaire and step-mama in training ; and Tyler (my baby boy, custom cabinet maker, about to take off across the country to MT), Mimi to one beautiful boy, and the truly blessed wife of a wonderful man who somehow manages to keep his calm (and calm me) through all the craziness that invades our lives.  We also have two fur-babies: kitties Brady (who, although born as a cat, is pretty sure he is a dog and Boo's brother), and Hank , who is a girl with a boy name (I didn't do it).  Our dogs Max and Brutus (a.k.a, Boo) now watch over us all from beyond the Rainbow Bridge.  I am a voracious, insatiable reader, and go through books like most people read newspapers.  I am always looking for my next book to read, and I prefer fiction I can get lost in.  I want to love the characters I am reading about, and be left wondering what happened next.  I think series are my favorite, but I also like stand-alone books that give me a satisfying ending.
