I am an aspiring author with a PhD in Anthropology and a passion for writing fiction.

Always an imaginative person, I began writing fanfiction at the age of 12, and started to write original fiction in my 30s. My favorite authors are Michael Crichton, Jean M. Auel, and Suzanne Collins. All of these authors strongly influenced me, both in practice - doing as much research as possible for a story - and in the types of stories I write. These influences led to a preference for realism over fancy in my writing.
When not writing, I enjoy reading, doing research, listening to music, 'Netflix & Video Games', and making jewelry.
