Life Update 1/2:
So it has been a while since I went to hiatus. I had been quite busy the moment I decided to focus on my thesis then I became busier after I graduated in college. I got a job in the middle of the pandemic but it was draining and taking me away from doing what I love the most which is writing and drawing. Honestly, I was so stressed for the past few years because I had little time to adjust and everything was too overwhelming. There was just too many expectations and a lot of pressure that I broke down and forgot to be kind to myself.
The only way I could cope up because I can only take so much was to reconnect with my hobbies. However, I had to balance between those and work because I needed to earn for a living. I didn't stop writing, I never did but I did experience more writer's block compared to how I was back in high school. I drew art more often than usual. But in the long run, I had to quit my job because I couldn't balance it anymore. At first, there was a flowing harmony between the two but over time, hobbies and work were just clashing and I'm like, "I can't do this, I have to quit."
Right now, I'm taking things slowly, because I wanted to focus on my mental health and that includes loving myself, being kind to myself.
The reason why I wasn't posting new stories or wasn't updating my ongoing ones is because I had to get to know my stories and my characters to the core. I had to learn how to write stories all over again, like legit back to square one. Why? Because when the time comes I decided to come back here and publish stories again, I would be able to provide you with better content than before. I want to give you stories that can, hopefully, give impact to your lives. So, I hope that you won't mind that I will still be taking my time in crafting my stories and I hope that you'll still support me the way you supported me in the past.
