I just came back to take a look back at some of my stories and why the hell did I think I was funny when I was 14? I was just cringey not funny

Only returning to implore you to watch JULIE AND THE PHANTOMS and stan everyone in that fucking cast. Simp for Luke, laugh at Reggie, respect Alex, be in awe of Julie, stand up and clap for Flynn, etc. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk. Back to my regularly scheduled absence from Wattpad

Hi everyone. As many of y'all know, I have become less active on Wattpad over the last few years. I've been on this platform since I was in the 6th grade (6 years ago) and I have definitely enjoyed every second of it. I joined after being annoyed with my friend for constantly talking about it. After reading a few fanfics, I decided to write one of my own. My first was called My Peter, which was my first book about Peter Pan from OUAT. Then I began writing more frequently, on here and in everyday life. Throughout the rest of my junior high and into my high school years, I wrote many fanfics, won awards for writing in school, and fell very much in love with creative writing. All because I joined this wonderful app.

But over the last few years (beginning my sophomore year), I slowly got into a writing slump. My creativity was wiped out. Thinking back, I honestly think it was my English teacher that I had in both 10th and 11th grades. I think she robbed me of my confidence in both myself and in my writing. So, I stopped writing. A few times I have tried to force myself to sit down and pump out a chapter or two or start a new book, but I could never do it.

Now, I have just graduated high school (not with a ceremony because, you know, corona) and I'm going off to college in the fall (GEAUX TIGERS) to study English. And after much thought, I've decided to retire my Wattpad account. I just can't see myself writing on here or using the app in any way in college.

To all the wonderful people who have supported me over the last 6 years, thank you so much. Y'all have helped me through so much and you all encouraged my love of creating stories. You all hold a special place in my heart.

          Much love,
          Kate <3
