I’ve come across your account and noticed the profile picture and usernames you’ve chosen. I wanted to gently express that these choices feel inappropriate and disrespectful toward the idols Kim Taehyung (V) and Jeon Jungkook as real people and artists. Regardless of shipping preferences or fanfiction interests, they are still human beings who deserve basic respect and dignity.
As fans, whether ARMYs or Taekook supporters, I believe we have a responsibility to protect the artists we admire, not contribute to content or representations that can harm them or make light of their boundaries. This feels especially important considering the recent and deeply concerning incidents involving AI-generated explicit and nude images of K-pop idols. Those situations have shown how easily artists can be violated and dehumanized online, often without their consent.
In light of this, I sincerely hope you’ll reconsider the usernames and profile imagery you’re using. Even if no harm was intended, these choices can still perpetuate disrespect and normalize behavior that ultimately hurts the very people we claim to support.
