KayLee Dial is a full-time student at Arizona State University, in the creative writing composition, and an editorial intern for the international literary magazine, Hayden's Ferry Review. She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona where she was, and is, surrounded by an abundance of family. KayLee's passion for writing began way back in middle school when, for her "Heroic Journey," she determined to write a book. Though, it wasn't until her senior year of high school that she truly believed she could turn writing into her career. The book she wrote her final year of high school she recently self-published with Writer's Republic as her first novel, The In Between. She eagerly anticipates authoring many more. Along with her love of writing, KayLee has worked in a diverse range of odd jobs, from volunteering at a local family-run bookstore, to retail, assistant teaching, and even to a fair number of years in the restaurant industry. She credits her career experiences as the driving "slice of life" behind all of her fictional characters and stories. Currently, she posts various short stories on her website, where she enjoys engaging with her readers and sharing what she has up-and-coming.
