When Kay's not writing, you might find her traveling the world. She especially loves catching maxi taxis in Bucharest, posing with famous statues across London, playing guitar outside Notre Dame in Paris, and dropping notes-n-poems along the riva in Hvar Town. Don't ask her to take another 48-hour bus ride through South America (she's "on strike"), but you're welcome to talk to her about bumpy, dusty bus rides through the desert in Bolivia. 

Kay's visited 22 countries and has lived in Latin America. Her favorite city in the whole world is Bucharest, Romania, but she first fell in love with East-Central Europe during a trip to the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia. She's originally a Texas gal but now hangs her hat in Tennessee (only until she can convince her husband to move to Romania).
