Has anyone read the Devil’s Night series (Penelope Douglas) or the Legacy of Gods series (Rina Kent)?
I haven’t read either of them, but I’ve heard them mentioned so many times. Are they good?

@aelinslegend I just started reading the first book yesterday, but I’m still early on in the book that I don’t have an opinion on the book yet. With dark romance, it depends for me. Some dark romance I love, and some dark romance I hate.

@kaygalathynius72 i've read devil's night and i thought it was pretty good! i personally didn't like book 1 THAT much, but i think honestly that whichever characters you like best, their books will automatically be your favorites. the 3rd book is really outstanding in my opinion. i would only read if you like dark romance, otherwise u probably won't be a fan

Guilty of reading multiple books at once. Idk how I ended up reading 13 books at once.

I bought more books…
- This Woven Kingdom by Tahereh Mafi (I love the Shatter Me series, so I wanted to read more books by her)
- Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter (I’ve heard a lot about this)
- A Curse Carved in Bone by Danielle L. Jensen (The ending of the first book was insane, so I just had to get this second one)
- Off to the Races by Elsie Silver (I loved her Chestnut Springs series and recently found out that there’s more series that connect to it, so I wanna read this one)
- The Way I Used to Be by Amber Smith (I’ve heard a lot about this)

@cardanANDaaron I love every book genre as long as it’s well-written and fictional. I love fantasy books the most, but I can’t read a fantasy book after already reading another fantasy book right before it or else my brain will feel like it’s gonna explode. If I just read a fantasy book and want to read another fantasy book, I have to read a romance book in between, before reading the other fantasy book. Oh! And if I read a sad book, I absolutely have to read a romance book after it.

@livv276AK I’m excited to read Better Than the Movies. You’re welcome. Just know that the last book—The Way I Used to Be—is really sad. I haven’t read it yet, but I’ve heard about it a lot. I found out about it through TikToks that had Eden McCrorey (from The Way I Used to Be), Autumn Davis (from If He Had Been With Me), Gerard Gibson and Lizzie Young (from the Boys of Tommen series), and Lia Zhang (from the Naturals series), and more characters that I recognize from other books I’ve read on the same slide as characters who have gone through trauma. Since they mentioned all the books I’ve read and liked on the same slide as that book, I decided to buy it.

@kaygalathynius72 I could NOT get into this woven kingdom for the life of me, but better than the movies is good if you’re into romance

This week and last week have been crazy. I’ve had to call 911 twice ‘cause last week, I found someone after a fall, and last night, I found a different person after a fall.
