Yeah I get what you're saying, and yeah it's fine if you reply here. But I agree, he did his time, and true he did some fucked up shit, and it's sad that he's gonna have to deal with that for the rest of his life, and I feel bad for him. I do sorta wish he and Reece had some sort of relationship, but that's not what he wanted and that's fine. And Reece already sorta has a dad. True, Brett is his father, but he was never a dad. Do you get what I'm saying? Reece has a full family, people that he can start a future with, not a family he can dig up and fix from the past. I'm really happy and proud for Brett for turning his life around, but Reece is what 18? Or almost 18? Brett picked the wrong time to start acting like a dad. And I feel as if it would be too hard for Reece to have a happy relationship with his father, because he never had that in the first place. He scarred him pretty bad.
