Yesterday morning a husband and wife was shot to death in their home. The man who killed them then set their house on fire and stole their truck. He had also started a fire at the lumber mill right down the road from them. These two people lived about 10 minutes from me. The truck was found on fire at the lake in my town. Roads were shut down, My school was canceled; The police were on a man hunt. Around 12 in the afternoon the man was found. He had been hiding at my aunt and uncles camp. On their property is the camp and new building my aunts brother in law has built for when he retires. The murderer broke in and took the keys for my aunts brother in laws car. As he was making his get away he drove right into the police. He didn't put up a fight when he was arrested. My uncle couldn't go home for lunch like he always does, the police were checking their property. My aunt called later and said that the police believe he was hiding there all morning. That he watched them leave for work. He had been under their camp and moved stuff around. A bench they had in the yard had been moved. The top of the box on back of the four wheeler was open.

I didn't know the people who were killed, but living in such a small community as I do, I am still greatly effected. Nothing like this happens here. The police here have never experienced something like this. I am very thank full my aunt and uncle weren't home all day.

It takes a very sick person to murder two people who had done anything they could for anyone.
